A little History and Claim to Fame!

In 1959 a young Dolly Parton joined the SCHS Band as part of the Drumline. She has continued to give back to her hometown band by helping purchase new uniforms and countless other gestures. We are so proud of our East Tennessee Queen on the South!

ETSBOA All-East Clinic 2025

This clinic is a rigorous weekend event where High School students from East Tennessee audition and practice to form a concert band, showcasing the region’s best musicians. The top scoring students earn the privilege of moving on to All State band to join their top ranking peers in a Best in State collaboration.
